Among the most sparkling stars at the 2016 MTV VMA’s were the emeralds dripping from Beyonce’s earlobes. Now, days after the event, the media can’t stop buzzing about the many Lorraine Schwartz-designed pieces Queen Bey wore—including the estimated $13 million price tag. It was only a couple of months ago that the music icon wowed us with more Instagram-worthy jewelry choices from her Lemonade video. They include those stacks of Dylanex necklaces and chokers coiled around her neck and the gobstopper Ivy earrings. Maybe she should also add “queen of accessories” to her long list of accomplishments because whatever Beyonce wears—we want it and it puts the designers-behind-the look on our style radar. Blake Lively

The actress always manages to wow us with her red carpet looks, but we think Blake’s real style shines through on her Instagram posts which show off her passion for fashion and jewelry. We especially love her manicure posts, which tend to showcase clever arrangements of stacking rings—many of them bearing price tags of $1,000 and up from designer Jennifer Meyer. But that’s not the point: Blake inspires us to follow her stylish lead, which can be done at any price point. Kudus also go to the soon-to-be mother of two for her perfecto talent for pairing the right accessories with the right outfits. For example, we love the way her azure earrings play off the design of her dress above. Ditto the blush toned dangly sparklers, top. Plus—for the moment anyway—she’s the epitome of pregnancy chic.

Lupito Nyong’o

The Oscar winner is not only a regular on the best-dressed list of any red carpet event, we think she’s at the top of her jewelry game. Just ask Tiffany, who made her the new face of the brand for their fall 2016 campaign. But it wasn’t that many red carpets ago that Lupita rocked a pair of Chopard diamond earrings in a Calvin Klein Collection gown embellished with more than 6,000 pearls. Then again, when it comes to jewelry, Lupita has a knack for knowing exactly what will pop against the bright solids and prints she tends to favor. We especially love the combo of pink gemstones against lime green and the long dangly sparklers that complimented both her sweeping gown and her upswept hairdo for the recent Metropolitan Museum gala. Fashion icon, jewelry influencer, and activist (we also applaud her role as global ambassador for WildAid)—in our book, Lupita’s got it all!
