On the 21st floor of a Manhattan high-rise, overlooking the city’s rooftops, the Accessories Council held their Holiday Press Preview. DPA was invited to tour the Council’s top picks for great gifts for the season with Jessica Chang-Russell as our guide, shown above left with DPA’s Sue Perry. From pretty sparkly jewelry to shiny metallic handbags, the message was clear: Accessories are amping up their brilliance. In fact, dazzling embellishments know no end right now, as even faux precious diamonds, rubies, emeralds and pearls are bringing a whole new level of ornamentation to shoes and bags.
